Exterior Shades are Multi Purpose
Exterior shades are fast becoming a homeowner favorite. If you’ve ever tried to sit outdoors on a hot summer day in Charlotte, NC you’ll understand why. The sun can be brutal, especially around Lake Norman & surrounding areas, and once you’ve designed a beautiful outdoor living space, you don’t want to have to stay inside because its too hot.
I say they are multi purpose for a few reasons.
If you have an extended outdoor area from your bedroom or living room, instead of covering the sliding doors with shades, add them to the patio area instead. This can provide the layer of privacy needed, and gives you the shading needed to also enjoy the extended patio area. Two birds, one shade! :)
